Traditional pub

“We want to be the best traditional pub in Antwerp,” says co-founder Pieter-Jan Vaes in an interview with the newsletter Made in Antwerpen. He and Robin Valkaert run the Den Tripel bar, whose name is a subtle reference to Triple Living, the property developer of the Nieuw Zuid site, but of course it’s also a nod to the Tripel beers you can sample there. Matthijs & Co undertook the entire construction job, with Studio Boîte responsible for the design.
